This website, getmova.co.uk, is run by Mova Financial Technology Ltd ("Mova", "we", "us"). We are a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17222969. Our registered office is Suite 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE.
We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number ZC182132.
You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@getmova.co.uk. For requests about your personal information, such as access or deletion, please use dataprotection@getmova.co.uk.
This policy covers this website and the messages you send us through it. Mova Invest, Mova Tax and Mova Spend are not yet open to the public. When they launch, each will have its own privacy information explaining what financial data we process and why, and we will tell you before any of it is collected.
Messages you send us. If you use the contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. We use these to reply to you. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: it is reasonable for us to answer people who contact us.
Early access and updates. If you ask to join the early access list or to hear about launches, we will use your email address to contact you about Mova. Our lawful basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.
Technical information. Our website host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and basic request details such as the page requested, the time and your browser type, so the site loads and stays secure. We do not use this to identify you or build a profile of you.
Fonts. The typefaces on our pages are served from our own website, so your browser does not contact Google or any other font provider to display them.
Cookies and tracking. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies on this website. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information. We use a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf: Cloudflare (website hosting and security), Resend (delivering the contact form messages to our inbox), Google (our email service). They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
We may also share information where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid request from a regulator or court.
Some of our providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where your information is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by UK data protection law, such as approved transfer mechanisms and contractual protections.
We keep messages and the details in them for up to 12 months after our conversation ends, unless we need to keep them longer to resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation. If you are on the early access list, we keep your email address until you ask us to remove it or we stop running the list.
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit who can access the information. No system is perfectly secure, so if you have a concern about security, tell us.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to: be told how your information is used; access a copy of it; have inaccurate information corrected; have it erased in certain circumstances; restrict or object to some uses of it; receive it in a portable format; and withdraw consent where we rely on it.
To use any of these rights, email dataprotection@getmova.co.uk. We aim to reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
This website and our products are not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
